My Story
Welcome Moon Flower, I'm Christine. ☽
I was born and raised in Southern California, and now living in O'ahu, Hawai'i. I'm a social worker, vegetarian, animal lover, fur mom, nature enthusiast, and handcrafter as well as a loving partner, friend & family member.
After experiencing a lifetime of difficult challenges paired with the low self esteem that resulted from it, I gradually became intrigued by various lifestyles & practices that promote harmony, joy and overall well being. Over the years, I developed a deep appreciation for all things health & conscious forward, and took a particular interest into natural, plant based, and eco-friendly practices. I’ve grown to be more aware of the products I use, the food I consume and the possessions I own, and continue to do so from a place of empowerment, expanding knowledge and self acceptance.
I've always loved using very simple, plant based, natural remedies for self care, and equally so, I love handcrafting items from scratch. The idea of starting a holistic bath, body & aromatherapy business was something I've had in mind for while, but by far, what set things in motion was my dad's unexpected passing in September '22. I was reminded how fickle life is, and decided to start boldly pursuing my biggest passions.
It brings me so much joy to share this meaningful part of my self love journey with you, and I'm committed to translating my personal values into the Magical Moon Flower mission:
